ABOUT US
The Latin American Association of Southampton (LASo), is a non-profit organisation whose main objective is to create a communication network that allows us to guide, inform and provide tools to our community, with the aim of achieving rapid and successful integration within the British Society.
VISION
LASo seeks to promote the alliance between the Latin American (LA) community residing in Southampton and its surroundings to support cultural initiatives that help the LA community preserve its identity, through integration and development, always focused on contributing to the British Society of which we are a part of.
MISSION
Our efforts are focused on providing support in the cultural and educational area, creating work groups aimed at reinforcing the English and Spanish languages (through classes), meeting groups (networking), cultural and educational events, among others, since it is essential encourage these activities to preserve our identity and continue to develop our culture.
HOW IT IS SUSTAINED
LASo is a non-profit association made up of a group of volunteers.
Our capital comes from organising fundraising events, as we want to make sure that all our services are free, that is why we are pleased to receive voluntary donations from government entities, our community and their loved ones.
